Assignment #1
What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?)
For the picture with the up close shot of the flowers, I was a good distance away but zoomed in all the way.
What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...)
For most of these photos I shot straight on to take each picture.
Are your photographs horizontal or vertical?
Some are horizontal and some are vertical.
Did you consider the rule of thirds to compose your shots? In which photos? Describe.
Yes, I used the rule of thirds with the picture of the up close flowers and tried to put the biggest flower in main focus a little to the right of the photo and not in the exact center.

Assignment #3
How did you move beyond subject matter and make your images deal with surface quality, not just the subject of the image?
For my first image I made my image focused on the lines of the fence not the background so the viewer would focus on the real subject.
Which of your images do you feel is the most captivating? Do you feel the lighting conditions made an impact on the quality of the images?
My first image of the fence best captivates the great lighting conditions showing the darkness of the fence and impacts the background well.
If you could shoot one of them over again, which one would it be and why?
My second image because I think I made the image too dark and it doesn't show the color values well.

Motion blur allows an image to show the subject moving in a way that utilizes their action.
There's a fine line between intentional motion blur and inadvertent technical mistakes. Which of your images do you feel is strongest in this regard?
My photo that I took of Kaitlyn riding the scooter doesn't show correct motion blur and I think it could've been captured better.

You can lower the ISO so the image can adjust for the lighting where you are shooting.
